I first found out about the current voice mode by accident a few months ago. I was just about to ask GPT a question and I saw the headset icon and thought "huh, wtf is this?". It absolutely blew my mind but what I'm trying to say is it didn't feel like a big deal at the time in terms of it being a major release that everybody just knows about, at least to me. Maybe I'm just unlucky and didn't see anyone talk about it, but with this new model, EVERYBODY is talking about it. It just draws more attention.

I think this is, in part, why we have this situation now. The new voice model is a big deal and more people know about it. As a consequence more people are talking about the current one. Then theres the "Her" aspect of it, which obviously brings with it Scarlett Johansson's performance.

Sky has been here for quite some time, but people didn't care enough. Now they do.
