Think about it. Sam Altman knows that this type of attention is net good if they win the lawsuit, should one formally be brought on. To win the lawsuit, fine-tune a legal gpt to help their legal team bulldoze their way to #1 and staying there.

All I’m saying is maybe Sam believes OpenAI can beat it, but first wanted to offer ScarJo revenue to partner up with OpenAI and give the rights to her voice. If she said no, do it anyway or get close to replication because OpenAI can still win in court. Both outcomes being a lot of media attention, with potentially the same monetary cost.
