During World War II Americans were admired by people from other countries for their "just do it" attitude and their ability to create field bases and get supply lines up and running in no time. That sense of innovation is long gone. Now Americans have turned into a bunch of pathetic, whiny children who are incapable of analyzing a problem on their own, are absolutely convinced that there's no such thing as one person being able to have a world-changing idea, and insist that if the big companies aren't already doing it then you may as well not even bother.

When did we turn into such a bunch of useless, pathetic cowards?
