Im genuinely curious how much merit her case has, assuming what OPenAI said is true(big if). OpenAI claims after Scarlett Johansson declined, they hired a professional voice actress that sounded similar and that non of Scarlett Johansson's voice data was used. As far as I know they never claimed it was voiced by her either. This would be similar to her suing Disney for hiring a new actress who looks extremely similar to her to play Black Widow. If non of her voice data was used, and they never claimed it was her does she have a case? To be clear im not taking any sides here just genuinely curious about the legal implications of something like this as it could affect way more than just this one case.
