Sure a lot of these individuals had money before entering politics, but they use their position in office to further their wealth by trading on inside information and manipulating industries they legislate to benefit themselves. I bet a lot more people would be taking in the cash if they had this same insider information and could control industry in the same way.

You keep saying Gary is in the billions, but everything I’ve pulled up says 41-119 million net worth. That is a fuck ton of money, but in the big Picture, there’s more to get. You’re forgetting the insatiable thirst of greed. What makes you think they all still retained their humanity and value the things you listed. That’s a big assumption.
