So I just watched [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALwrwbnWLjo) (the information is legit because the youtuber, Sabine Hossenfelder, is a legit physicist), in which it explained that the news announcing "Q-day arrive as soon as 2025" is false, because it's based on a paper that could \*not\* be reproduced.

So could someone please explain to me what the actual progress is, what are the biggest challenges that are taking a long time? Or could someone please at least give me some pointers, like legit courses, news, organizations that I could follow and learn on my own? Thank you!
