I've been a fan of Sam Altman for a while and have been pleased with how he's been running OpenAI. However, recently I've started to question my loyalty. Many of us are familiar with the Scarlett Johansson and Sky voice debacle. But today, I came across a tweet from someone claiming to be his sister, Annie Altman, alleging sexual misconduct by Sam when she was young. You can view the post here: https://x.com/anniealtman108/status/1635704398939832321?s=46&t=D0lN4lRC2Cug7UwbsnOOyQ

My post isn't about the legitimacy of these claims, but rather an observation I made with ChatGPT. When discussing the allegations with ChatGPT (3.5, 4 and 4o), I noticed that there is no knowledge of Annie in its training data. Asking whether Sam Altman has a sister yields replies like:

“Yes, Sam Altman, co-founder and CEO of OpenAI, has a sister named Jack Altman. Jack Altman is known for his work in the technology and startup space.”

or

“Yes, Sam Altman, the co-founder of OpenAI, has a sister named Elana Altman.” (This is a made up name)

or (look at attached screen shot)

And when I made it search Bing for an answer it will come up with her name but triggered a red content warning.

This leads to my two-fold question: Is Sam and his team intentionally limiting training data to exclude this individual? If so, should we be concerned about other factual information being manipulated, leading users to false conclusions? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
