He took people's money under the guise of investing in Crypto, which he didn't - He bought a bunch of expensive shit to live the tiktok/influencer life then tried to declare bankruptcy, after which he STILL lived the tiktok/influencer life.

Gerald Cotten was a crypto king. He actually facilitated most of the Bitcoin and Crypto transactions in Canada up until his "death" in 2017 - He was involved in Crypto as deep as SBF and arguably had more of an effect on Canadian regulation than anyone else put together.
