Someone who invests in Bitcoin. That doesn't necessarily mean the only thing they do. Maybe just for the context of the interview they're giving that's what they're saying they do that is relevant to the topic at hand and maybe they have a job otherwise.

They can day trade or swing trade Bitcoin or cryptocurrency just as others can do with stocks. It's not doing nothing, It's sitting at a computer watching screens and charts all day and executing trades.

There's definitely technical analysis that can be done on cryptocurrency. There are moving averages, Bollinger bands, RSI, Fibonacci levels and so many other indicators but just to name a few. It's not like these people are just doing it blindly. There are not fundamentals like you have with stocks, but there is analyzing the fundamental background of Bitcoin regulation, adoption, scaling solutions etc, So even though it doesn't mirror equities analysis there again is data to review to try to make a better decision on trading, investing or speculating, whatever you want to call it.
