Totally. I forgot to mention that I don't like the current jobs situation by any means. It's too apparent that people are dissatisfied with work and cost of living, having to work multiple jobs or make money on the side in any way they can, and something is going to have to give.

I think advancements in new fields like green energy and semiconductors can lead to a strong job market, especially for people who are struggling to make ends meet today, but that will take like a decade at least to come into full effect.

I feel like these are well beyond the scope of the Fed though, and seems like the Fed is pretty much focusing on its two mandates, general unemployment numbers and general inflation numbers, as they should. They're not the government, so any more surgical approach to improving our economy is really up to legislature. But tldr as far as rates go, I expect no cut just yet since inflation is still too high while employment figures are stable.
