Hi all, I have a question regarding authorship. There are 3 parties: the organization funding the study (who determines what they want the study topic to be/gives feedback to the research organization from start to finish as the study progresses), the independent research organization (designs/conducts the study/presents results/writes the abstract and or manuscript), and a key opinion leader (who only reviews the deliverables and gives feedback). Long story short, it was decided that the key opinion leader will be the first author. Is this common?
