Obviously, corruption and fraud in elections needs to be watched for and dealt with, and systems need to be secure and capable of demonstrating their validity when challenged.

At the same time, voter confidence in election results is essential for democracy to last. It is healthy for democracy to be able to take possible problems to the courts. But after countless courts rejected the arguments and pointed out the lack of evidence, to continue to claim 2020 was "stolen" and that people can't trust election results even after all legitimate avenues of challenge are exhausted and shown to lack evidence, is to actively undermine the foundation of democracy itself.

If enough people deny election results without evidence, the very foundation of democracy is destabilized. Those who try to convince others to deny results without evidence are a serious threat to functional democracy.

As Wyman pointed out, baseless election denial is irresponsible and threatens the "most basic foundation of democracy". It is an extremely serious threat to the very core of democracy in the USA.
