I dont necessarily disagree in that regard. I think Israels institutions should be ostracisizing communities like the Hasidim and Haredim because they dont contribute anything to the growth of the nation. I dont think Jewish law should be above secular civil law. Jewish secularism is definitely different and I think its often hard to grasp for people who arent Jewish. It can work and does work. I think it could work better and more needs to be done to be even more inclusive of the Palestinians in Israel. Symbology should not offend anyone, especially as many Jewish symbols (Star of David and Hand of Miriam) also exist in the Muslim and Christian cosmos, which is the ridiculousness of this conflict. Israel will always be a Jewish land to Jews just as much as Christians and Muslims view it as their land, and I dont mean that in an exclusive way but rather a coexistent form.
