I created a Polkadot vault on an old smartphone and the derivation path as well

Linked to Nova wallet and sent TAO to verify everything worked correctly

It did

Sent my TAO back and then deleted vault to test recovery phrase in case of lost hardware

Vault was recovered but the derivation path did not remain

Am I missing something? Do I need to keep TAO in vault for the path to persist?
