okay...okay. You're clearly not being emotional to try and deflect from the fact that you implied that inflation trends would hold constant and therefore the market expecting low inflation for the past 6 months was intelligent.

The general understanding doesn't change. Printing money causes inflation. Inflation wanes and then resurges as inventories dwindle and supply contracts get renewed. In almost all cases, it takes deceased demand to break inflationary psychology and that demand break comes from a recession.
