Metals are pretty cool. They're shiny and look all fancy, and you can find endless fancy designs and forms. They're relatively liquid too you could go to a coin store and sell your metal and have a pretty good idea what you'll get (spot value for most pieces). You can look at charts and data for the metals and know they're pretty reliable. You can even put them into your IRA, which I don't even understand, but I guess it shows they're more legitimized in the world of finance lol

You don't need firsthand knowledge of the craft or whatever to know what you're buying, you can always refer to spot value
