The judge apparently instructed the jury that they are not required to prove he did it beyond reasonable doubt. That is not the standard. There doesn’t need to be a smoking gun. We’ll see, I guess, if the jury can’t come to an agreement, but based on evidence of past behavior and the fact that the payoff for this particular story happened in a different way from the previous payoffs “proves” it had to be done to protect him during the election.

They said in the trial that DJT had been paying National Enquirer for 17 years previously to bury stories negative to DJT. This isn’t a crime. However, when the election was on the line, all of a sudden the way he paid to bury the stories changed. Seems pretty cut-and-dry to me, but I’m not on the jury.

Additionally, it is beyond unbelievable that Cohen would have taken out a home equity loan on his own house to pay SD without DJT knowing. I mean, come on.
