And whether you want to admit it or not, a huge percentage of people into bitcoin and crypto are just annoying as fuck, if not outright douchebags about it. So when you approach somebody with "hey! I'm going to teach you about bitcoin!" they likely don't want to hear it and are going to associate you with those douchebags.

Bitcoin could reach $1 million over the next 10 years, and you'd still have people saying it's a scam and the bottom is about to fall out. Who cares? As long as they aren't coming up to you and starting shit with you, let them believe what they want.
