So I'm newer to investing and looking to get into a brokerage platform. Currently only have a High Yield Savings with Wealthfront, But want to set get into ETFs, and set up a Roth elsewhere as to avoid the 0.25% fee. Good research tools and loads of ETF/MF options wont really matter as It's mostly simple long term stuff I'm interested in S&P500 index type stuff. Probably interested in Dividends though. Here are some stuff each, hopefully you all can enlighten me further. And if they might be better for Brokerage account but not Roth, or vice versa
Fidelity: Could use their Robo for free under $25k and just keep moving money out any time it gets close to over. But they have lots of fees on the backend like transfers and such
M1: Recently went free if over $10k, but heard their expense ratios are higher?
Sofi: Free. Bonus perks like free Financial planners, loans, etc.
Schwab: Holds higher % in cash and at low interest %(Might be close to 5% now though?)
I know I probably can't go wrong with any of them, and they'll all serve me well. But trying to see if there are better fits. Thank you!
