Wife and I followed the same path as you're on. Eventually we got to where we were both debt free (other than our house) and had enough invested to pay for retirement. At that point we cut back on investing and indulged ourselves some. But personally I found I was uninterested in most gadgets and toys. Traveling and improving our house and garden ended up being what I now enjoy spending money on.
