I recently spoke to someone in the financial sector who has been buying gold and silver mining ETFs for a couple of years. Considering the global and economic situation the demand for these commodities might sky rocket and investing in gold/silver mining is a good idea (according to him). I am new to this king of investments and would like to know some opinions from others. Also what would be good recommendations, GX2 and Global X Silver Miners seem to hold a diversity of miners. Other suggestions or recommendations for metals/raw materials and other ETFs which are not mentioned above that would be wise and a good idea to start investing in are most appropriated.
