> Of course I know Bitcoin had predecessors, but all of them failed because they weren't truly decentralized enough.

Nope, they failed because of lack of adoption.

> Bitcoin is the first cryptographic money that has survived state level attacks \[...\] Your "alternatives" that offer more "speed" are not truly decentralized/secure to the point where governments can't shut them down.

USA and EU could ban it tomorrow and create their own cryptocurrency and bitcoin would lose 99% of its value. No real "attack" has been done to bitcoin currently.

> Bitcoin is likely to be the only carbon-negative industry in the future.

Plain false. Bitcoin mining tends to move to economies where restriction on CO2 are not so strict, and where they can buy cheap but dirty energy.

> If you aren't also equally upset about the energy use of Christmas lights which also use more energy than some countries - you're a massive hypocrite.

? This is a plain falacy. And, btw, I don't celebrate christmass, so i don't really care about them.

> 1 Bitcoin = 1/21,000,000 BTC

And? The value of each BTC is dependent of its relationship with the dolar. No one would care about BTC if it costed 2 dolars each. You are always fighting against the dolar.

> I just describe the dollar going to zero because that's all people like you care about.

Yet you speak about wealth about a concept where "being rich" is totally relative with dolars. You cannot but anything with BTCs, they failed as a coin. You are trying to address them as "store of value", which is the same people have done with each speculative asset, lol.

> If you're happy having other people be able to print for free the "money" you work hard for

Inflation does not only come from money printing, but okey lol. I guess that asking for some basic economy knowledge for a Bitcoin die-hard is too much.
