"text": "No, its another line item on my overall budget. If I lose all my investments tomorrow I still can pay all my bills today, tomorrow, and the day after.\n\nI also have a \"fun\" account. Money goes in there every week and I can spend it however I want. I can save it up for a PS5, I could spend all of it on pokemon cards. I can save it up for a weekend getaway with the misses. It doesn't matter because everything else is taken care of and I wont go broke if I spend every cent.\n\nI dont think there is anything wrong with putting a lot into investing but I believe in balancing your life. If you are skipping out on social or meaning activities because you want the money to go to investments, that is an issue. If you decide that you dont want videogames in your life because you become a couch potato, then investing it would be a good choice for multiple reasons.",
