Giving your government total and complete control over AI and requiring them to manage and authorize others to use it is a flawed approach. Not only will you put it SOLELY in the wrong hands, you will never claw any right back that has been given freely up by the people. Regulating activities may be an option, but the cat's out of the bag at this point. That will be an exceptionally difficult and nuanced path.

When people said "AI will destroy humanity", they were right. Although it doesnt mean humans in our physical form, it means our internal humanity - who we are, or who we perceived ourselves (or others) to be.
