Ya I mean people on this sub are long term investors that want slow growth, presumably because it’s suppose to correlate with lower risk, however although the delta is a lot higher in bitcoin the risk is actually a lot lower when compared to growth solely because of its performance. A 40% gain with a 30% downturn is a lot riskier than a 300% gain with a 60% downturn, and that’s only speaking of last cycle in reality it’s more like a 1500% gain with a 70% downturn and considering just a bit of active investing with a 15-30% trailing stoploss would make that an even greater gain in literally any regard including moving their own investments decreasing their loss to a 15% loss and a presumable 45% gain they refuse to take it because they think any form of active investment will ultimately perform worse than just doing nothing and holding things that continuously for all of their existence perform in very obvious cycles (aside from black swans but those are always extremely lucrative moments)
