Yes, it should go through if the gas price goes down to 6.85 gwei. I don't know when this will happen though, 6.85 gwei is very low. There's an extra complication in that the gas for a transaction is comprised of 2 parts, the "base fee" and the "tip" or the "priority fee". If the tip is very low it's possible that miners won't include the transaction even if the base fee is low enough.

In theory your transaction can float around indefinitely until the gas price goes low enough at which point it will complete, although if not even a single node continues to relay it around the network it may effectively disappear, as if you'd never sent it.

If you want to speed it up you can send another transaction with the same serial number ("nonce"). The wallet will usually label this something like "speed up".

Be aware that if you send another transaction with a higher nonce, that will also be queued behind the current one, as the nonces must be processed in order. If you want to forget about the current transaction and make a different one, the wallet will normally allow you to set the nonce manually to be the same as the current unconfirmed one. This will replace the unconfirmed one if its gas fee is higher.
