there was open letter from a whistleblower back then, which granted was anonymous so take with grain of salt. but in this case there’s always common sense. majority of hr stats online cite an average employee engagement rate of around 30% to 40%. even for the new tech industry where it has been reported to be higher. it’s nowhere near 95%. truth is, majority of employees at big corporations couldn’t care less about leadership changes or corporate politics as long as their job isn’t threatened. the letter predominantly outlined board deficiencies, altman unfair termination process and a request for the board resignation. none of which any of the employees would have had prior knowledge of. it was a vindictive corporate piece against the board which really seems unlike anything employees would genuinely instigate or rally behind if what really matters to them is making a case for altman's needed leadership.
