Depends on perspective, people need to understand that india isn't anti-west, but it's also not the west.

Those videos with the MEA might give some idea into india going its own way (can extrapolate the jist to BRICS/global south).
Regarding income disparity, it is more a side effect of eliminating extreme poverty in the last decade. We now have 200+ million more people able to purchase goods and services from SMEs, which makes its way to established players who have already captured the market.
Slowly, we'll see it unbundled (through our digital public infrastructure), but it's a trade-off we're happy to make tbh, probably even a good problem to have.. In contrast to the USA (most western countries), where the wealth gap is driven by middle/bottom getting poorer, ours is from middle/bottom getting richer.
I just read the article too, it's pretty good.. should calm down on the whole "hindu nationalism" stuff, though lol. It's like people have forgotten that Hinduism is fundamentally liberal and secular.. seems trying too hard to make two lefts into a right
