Honestly - this war will drag for a long time I fear. This will not only be really bad for Ukraine, but also for Russia. I doubt the west will undo the sanctions anytime soon after the war.

And seeing how it goes, Russia will be hit hard by all of it. Loss of manpower, loss of knowledge and so on. Economy down the drains.

It will take decades to get back to their old strength - if ever. I doubt they will ever reach that anyway. They used up almost everything they had from soviet times and the new stuff is a lot more.expensive, harder to make and wont last as long in storage.

So rearming themself and getting troops will take a long time and a shit load of money.

They lost so much, give it one more year and the US could easily, without any real losses themself, destroy their whole military installations with conventional weapons.

The only reason they won't do it, is that they still have nukes.
