Got a few points:

1. GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo don't actually have web access or code interpreter inside the model. Web access and code interpreter are both triggered externally via function calling, which Opus does also have. You can see on github the many repos for open source versions of both web access and code interpreter.

2. GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo don't have image gen either. (They use the Dalle API via function calling which Claude can use too.) GPT-4o does apparently have image gen but that part of the model isn't out yet.

3. We don't know that GPT4o is smaller it could be more efficient compute. See Groq for the extreme example of this. (For context I personally use Groq Llama 3 as my actual daily driver)

4. GPT4o's full multimodal form, which isn't actually out yet, will indeed by ahead for multimodality yes. But multimodality is not the highest priority in my opinion. I think the 3 most important areas for these models are language (where Opus is ahead), code generaton (where Opus is either ahead or drawn) or agent stuff, where current GPT 4 is indeed ahead.
