Years and years ago when I was in college, the Apprentice was on TV. I remember being asked by someone in my dorms if I wanted to hang out with their friends and watch it.
I had zero interest in the show but I was trying to make friends so I went along. These people were enthralled by Trump and were repeating his catch phrase, "you're fired!" to each other in conversation.
I thought Trump was an asshole back then and I felt the whole situation was weird. I wonder if people are just susceptible to being transfixed by someone who is like Trump and Manson. These were young people, 100 miles away at a rural college who were absolutely engaged in Trump's cult of personality.
I didn't stick around too long after that 😂
