What happens when you need to go in for some kind of procedure to perform maintenance on your chip but someone on the surgery team said something mean about Elon and he laid off the entire surgery department a few days before your procedure?
So yeah, I don’t want Musk’s companies involved in any part of my life. Especially involving a medical device. There are tons of other biotech companies in the world, and there is a ton of research being done across the country. Musk didn’t get out of the gate first because he’s exploring avenues nobody else is, it’s because he famously cuts corners at every possible opportunity. There is probably a significant amount of research going on in this very field, but just like the other 99% of medical research you never hear about, they’re actually working on their projects rather than trying to push them in front of a camera at every possible opportunity.
