MSM are still having trouble dealing with the reality that they have zero agency to restore the old guard GOP, the sunny optimism of the Gipper, the patriotic military glory of W. Bush and, of course, what really matters, those precious tax cuts for the rich.

This is a good time to test the Upton Sinclair interpretation of "money talks, bs walks."

The theory predicts sponsorship is the 800 pound gorilla, if not the only factor, when it comes to actual _results_. The sincerity of any MSM opposition to Trump becoming an evil dictator won't play much of a role.

MSM will helplessly do a moon walk and get Trump get elected because their salaries depend on the same mega donor money that is now funding Trump.

This is assuming they do not eventually openly support Trump, pretty iffy considering the six media barons who openly supported Hitler in the 1930s, or rather, had zero agency to oppose him.

MSM, being as disreputable as the Palestinians, managed to wiggle themselves into the same situation as the Palestinians.

Both have zero agency to oppose despotism.
