Its where we're all heading. Particularly in the west. A lot of it is due to financial inequality. We're making life harder for the child baring generation(s). Governments support the boomers and up as they are the key voting demographic and there's a lot of money locked up in them. From eras where you could support a family and house on a sales job. Now you can't even afford a flat for a single person, who's going to purposely want to make it even harder by having kids. Government need to care more about people less about the wealthy, corporations and just votes for more power.
