I don't care about Biden but your point about Reagan was just blatantly misleading and you deserve to be called out on it.

The guy took a US with 14% inflation rate and brought it all the way down to 4.3%. Whilst unemployment rates rose immediately, by the end of his first term it went back down to the same levels as before his election.

You can endlessly debate on whether he should be given credit for it or not, but the economy undoubtedly improved under his watch and the people would've recognized that. He didn't get reelected by a landslide because people were under some massive collective delusion about it, no matter how much you dislike him and his policies.
