It seems you have the right mindset for trying to do a CTO. CTOs are becoming more and more common, as the original devs can sell their stake and be out within just a few minutes. Successfull ctos are not easy to accomplish. You need to remake all socials, convince the community to stick around, and put in a lot of time towards making new content as to stay active with social media. From my experience, successful ctos are ran by someone or a team with a good deal of experience with CTOs. They are able to quickly establish new socials, and do not hesitate to pay for things like cto banner on dexscreener, DEX ads, solana trending with their own money. The timing is also very important, from my experience, the longer you wait to get all the parts moving for a cto, the less chance it has to succeed. One of the most important parts of cto success is the project idea itself. Is it relevant? Is it attention grabbing? Does it make sense? These are some of the things cto leaders think about before making an effort to do cto. As for your situation, trending and DEX update useful, but do not bring a lot of buyers in itself. IMO, it was probably the idea and timing of the cto that may have got in the way of your vision. Do you have a link? I would like to check it out if you don’t mind
