Wow i think it finally just clicked for me . Ive always been under this weird impression that the government thinks btc is fighting for the same spot as the US dollar but once you understand its just a store of value completely and is an unlimited store of value . BTC is literally harmless in the sense of it taking over the dollar we need another outside currency still to keep Btc alive. We will always use the dollar to cash out for retirement essentially. So there will always be btc to sell . I think once government/general population, truly understands this point there will never be any worry to ban it completely. Regulate it im sure but I really see no downside in why everyone just doesn’t adopt it , we will all be able to sell for profit at some point in time. I mean at that point it will be here to stay just like everything else .
