If you ever did something then wanted to do it again without messing up. Let's say you have an argument on reddit and looked up an article while researching. You wrote a reply based on a different article, then closed both. The guy responds a week later changing their position from one countered by the second article to one countered by the first. You can ask "what was that article I read about XYZ" and it will find it. Browser history does exist but it's very common for page titles to not have the right keyword, and it also doesn't help with non-browser activities (maybe you sent a message through one of an email app, IM app, and a social media website, and can track down the message if you can't remember which platform it was on). At least that's what I think this is about, I won't be turning it on though.
