I don’t buy this shit. If you actually want to limit civilian deaths you would make basic effort to track it. So far Israel has made every effort to avoid mentioning any such tracking. Add the fucking genocidal statements casually being dropped by state officials, the wanton destruction, mocking their victims and pillaging done by the soldiers and incidents like the World Central Kitchen and civilian Israeli being allowed to block and destroy aid supplies.

If their effort in protecting civilians isn’t just for show it surely is damn ineffective even by the most conservative estimates of casualties I have seen and not to a point you can simply explain away by ‘hamas strategy’ or ‘few bad apples’.
