  "text": "The lab I was at was working with quadrupeds, we only went with the Unitree's offering cause the cost analysis just didn't make sense for the Spot. Tesla doesn't have a quadruped offering, and I don't think they sell their robots anyway. The alternative was to get a MIT cheetah, but at the time it actually costed more and since it was more of an open source kit you'd have to build and maintain it yourself as opposed to getting a finished product.\n\nIn terms of performance even though I don't have direct experience working with different models they all seem to perform pretty much the same. We had to mount some hardware on top of the robot and I'm not sure if the MIT cheetah could carry the excess load for arms and a large Lidar.",
