I didn’t. I’ve since heard that’s how it works. I don’t have insurance right now but I’m going to apply for Medicaid in the new state. I’ve tried to make them note it in the chart. They’ve put things in my chart that weren’t true. I tried to talk to someone about it and they told me nothing could be done. This was at a supposedly *world renowned* hospital… It just makes me wonder how bad things are at hospitals no one has ever heard of. I also wrote my doctor an email asking if I was being sacrificed and treated so badly because I ended up with Medicaid after my insurance from my severance ran out. He acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about.

I’m pretty much just screwed unless I win the lottery.
