Young South Korean men have all the same social pressure and responsibilities as their fathers, with none of the advantages, why wouldn’t they be anti-feminist?
They still have to do years of military service, while their supposedly “equal” peers get to go off to university. They enter the workforce 2 years behind.
As long as South Korean women refuse to be conscripted (abolishing conscription not being an option due to their neighbor), this divide will last and deepen. And remember, in the end, when enough of the young men in a nation believe in a political system, the beliefs of everyone else stops mattering, they will get what they want one way or another.
Conscription is the primary difference between SK, Japan and China.
