Would you borrow from your 401k to buy investment property? I am 25 with a current 401k value of $115k. I’m thinking of borrowing $15k to buy my 3rd investment property. I am budgeting $45k for closing and have in cash but I don’t want to touch my cash too much especially for backup money. I am single and doing this alone so I want to be extra careful and well padded with emergency money. I already closed on a single family last month, and this will be my second purchase this year. Then I am done for this year. What do you think?
