If you'll never vote for Trump, and these are the only two candidates, then why would it matter to you if Biden took the anti-Zionist position? You might not like him doing that, but if your vote is already pledged to him with nothing that can dissuade that vote, he has no incentive as far you are concerned to take the Zionist position. You have given away your leverage that could disincentivize or punish him for doing this, which means that it's just up to his whim to happen to want to agree with you or not. What if every Democrat from now on adopts an anti-Zionist position? Where is the consequence from Zionists like yourself for them doing that?

I think Trump is going to win regardless. So yeah, it's certainly not impossible that Biden is in a no-win situation, because I don't think he can win even with this issue off the table. But there's still no proof that anti-Zionism is a losing position at this time, given the priorities of things people are willing to vote for and against.

The thing with holding part of the base hostage in order to win is that those "hostages" aren't going to be happy about it. And the next time maybe they're not in the base anymore. It's not like he ever holds any other part of the base hostage, nor that Dems do, it's always Progressives. They're always treated terribly and then screamed at to shut up and give their votes to Democrats regardless. What if Biden does win by holding the Left hostage? In 2028, the next Democrat is going to be in the same position against the next existential Republican fascist lunatic, and they're going to try to do the same trick of holding Progressives hostage on some other issue or issues. So even if Biden wins, then the clock starts on whether the hostages will all leave and allow Project 2029 to start instead of Project 2025. It never gives an actual solution to this rift.
