In theory, it could be a wise idea to replace Biden.

In practice, it makes no sense whatsoever to suggest this without first having a credible, well-funded politically savvy replacement in the wings.

We should remember that Biden was the logical nominee in 2020 and should have been the nominee in 2016 because he was the most charismatic candidate that the Democrats could nominate. He was never a politically exciting option, but he was the most viable option.

I cant think of who would be a clear successor. Possibly Whitmer or Beshear, but first we would need to know whether they would want to run.
