I've only been in the automotive industry for a couple years now, and currently work for a relatively large EV manufacturer. I can tell you with some pretty strong confidence that EV's are not the future (not yet). The hype, demand, and sales of EV's has diminished significantly now that people are realizing they don't actually want these things. Ford is having a hard time selling its F150 Lightning and Mach E Mustang. GM's ability to create a good EV has been laughable, and I'm not even going to bother explaining what's going on with Stellantis (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM etc.) The technology just isn't here yet and ICE cars are here to stay for a decent amount of time. Currently the future of vehicles falls onto the hybrids. Mazda recently announced that a team will be developing a new rotary engine (think RX-7 RX-8). They also have been working very hard on their fleet of SUV's. SUV's make up 48% of all global sales of vehicles. Mazda filed 6 rotary engine patents in Japan last year. One showing a new sports car in the making, and the others for developing their hybrid technology for their SUV's. Combine an electric motor, battery, and rotary engine and you have a hybrid vehicle that will be a killer in the market. It will be lighter, faster, and more reliable than anything competitors could put to market. I have good faith in this company and think it would be a great opportunity for growth investors. Don't miss out because MZDAY has potential to skyrocket in the near future.
