That’s all I do actually! I only use AI for the purpose of coding. I’m working on large-scale apps.

Maybe some people like that it provides full code, but I personally find it annoying. It does too much, and provides my entire code base even when it’s fully unnecessary and I didn’t request it too.

I prefer when it provides snippets of the code that needs modification, such as a function, for each loop, etc. In other words, I prefer when it’s lazier and doesn’t have unlimited energy.

I do see the quality of the code has improved. The old GPT-4 didn’t really follow best practices. 4o seems to do that. I was writing some Python code with it recently, and man - it has never been so good at solving problems.

Overall, coding with it is indeed smooth, and quality code is something it can write. If it was lazier like GPT-4 and followed my instructions when I told it to, it’d be great.

(I once told it to provide only small snippets instead of full code 5 times and it kept providing full code. That’s what I mean with not following instructions)
