Dude, that was a metaphor but, yes, credible allegations of sexual violence by IDF have been made.

Indiscriminate air strikes (many…not just WCK), preventing or hampering civilian relief efforts, far more loosened rules of engagement than US forces have operated with and rape are inexcusable and, many instances, likely war crimes.

For all the tech, intelligence, money and training we’ve provided Israel this, again, isn’t happening because they lack the ability to reduce civilian casualties and damage or destruction to important Palestinian civilian infrastructure without meaningfully increasing the risk to IDF soldiers. It’s because they are behaving without restraint…like an uneducated, untrained warlord.

But maybe we can find common ground: I believe the majority of Israelis do not support every way that the far right ruling coalition is prosecuting the conflict. I believe a new government would choose to behave better and reduce civilian casualties.
