Just because the cost of their goods maintained the same percentage (and to be clear, it is not a good thing if they have been able to offload all the costs of inflation on the consumer, which is what you are arguing) they still raised profits elsewhere, which at its core means they have gotten more money out of shoppers.

I have said this elsewhere: a business that gets to set it's margin without negative consequences is not one facing competition.
