I wonder why it's overlooked more than Germany's actions? We learned all about the Holocaust and the European aspects of the war in school.

Outside of Pearl Harbor and dropping the bombs, very little about the Pacific seems to be taught. At least where I grew up in the US at least and it just seems overall less people know much about it.

I guess maybe it's that Germany's actions overshadowed it or the devastation caused by the bombs?

The cynic in me thinks it could partially be because a lot of their crimes were against people that Western Nations weren't as concerned about.
